Journal Albion : Journal of English Literature, Language, and Culture: Announcements https://albion-fisib.unpak.ac.id/index.php/albion <p><strong data-start="0" data-end="18" data-is-only-node="">Journal Albion: Journal of English Literature, Language and Culture</strong> (<a href="http://u.lipi.go.id/1553484872">e-ISSN 2657-0696</a>) is a peer-reviewed, <strong>biannual publication (April and October)</strong> of <strong>the English Literature Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universitas Pakuan</strong>. Established in 2019, it publishes research in <strong>English Literature, Linguistics, Cultural Studies, and Translation Studies</strong>, embracing both <strong>qualitative and quantitative approaches</strong> within the humanities and social sciences. Taking its name from <em data-start="438" data-end="446">Albion, </em>the ancient poetic term for Britain, the journal reimagines the island as a <strong>symbol of movement, translation, and encounter</strong>, exploring h<strong>ow English and its cultural forms travel, transform, and take on new meanings across global archipelagos</strong>. It particularly encourages perspectives from <strong>Southeast Asian, transoceanic, and postcolonial contexts that rethink English in its global and local dimensions</strong>.
